Songs, a fuck up, more Bionic Commando, and surprisingly more AudioSurf

I'm posting the first song i had ever recorded because i feel that it's a pretty good song, certainly better than the crap i posted for this week. The song is lamely called All things considered(mp3) and the second half of the song is pretty awesome and emotional, the first half is build up which i could have probably done better. It's worth a listen in my opinion. I guess it's time to post my first weekly song, i don't even think it's worth your time to listen to. Next week I'll put more heart into it. The song is too quite, don't bother listening to it, check out my first song.

I fucked up this week by posting a blog link to a wiki that shouldn't have been posted. I've always been a big fan of the blogger i linked to, so i feel pretty bad about it (he wants to remain anonymous), but everything seems to be well again. It's funny, when called out like that i seem to look around and think of the possibility that it wasn't me, that he was maybe talking about someone else. The only other time in my life that i can think of a similar situation was when i was taking karate in my younger days. We had gotten back from a tournament and the black belts were upset that one of use had said, in front of the "rival" black belts, that they did not "want to watch the stupid black belts". They never called anybody out, but i always sensed that it might have been me. I don't remember saying it, but it seems like something i would have said (i probably wanted to go play my GameGear or something).

I really like Bionic Commando: Rearmed, the style of music brings an intense rush of nostalgia to me. I know i had played the game before, but i didn't really remember it all that well. I didn't even remember that you can't jump so I'm coming into the game pretty with a pretty fresh face. The swing mechanic is something I've never seen in two dimensions before, and i think I've got it figured out. The controls are a little strange, but they are clearly that way for precision. For example, you shoot your grapple arm out diagonally by default rather than by pushing the D-pad diagonally. This makes it so that you don't run into occasions where you accidentally shoot your arm up or forward. It works really well once you get the hang of it.

I've played a lot of AudioSurf, more than i thought i would, and it's an easy enough game (especially with a 360 controller) for anyone to pick up. I can just fire up Limewire, let my friends download the songs they want to play, and than have a blast. I've got great speakers for my PC (complete with sub woofer) so it sounds great, I should try the game on the TV sometime. I hope the guy makes a sequel or something.
