Mortal Kombat vs. DC

Are you ready for Sub-zero vs. batman?!? I know i'm not!

Mortal Kombat was one of the first controversial games ever, albeit that was deliberate (to get more coverage of course), but the game deserves some respect, i guess. I mean, the games haven't really been anything to get exited about since Mortal Kombat 3, so it's hard to really give a shit about these games now. But it really shows you how far this series has sank. Even worse; because DC comics needs to keep the rating T for teen that means there will be no Fatalities! Fatalities is the one thing that really made the series stand out.

This is not the only time we have seen a fighting series try something like this lately either. Just a few months ago Namco Bandai released some screenshots for the new Soul Calibur 4, which happened to have 2 Star Wars characters in them:
It's really obvious that this is some sort of tactic to combine 2 hard-core fan-bases into one game in order to sell more copy's. At least it's a great way to detect when a series is on its last legs, which sucks for Soul Calibur, i really liked that series.

Maybe i'm being too critical?
